BERKELEY GOES TO THE FAIR
Steven Finacom, speaker and curator of the exhibit, will present a program highlighting how Berkeley and other East Bay people played key roles in creating, staging, and operating the “San Francisco” fairs. The program will trace the local connections to both the Panama Pacific International Exposition (PPIE) of 1915 and the Golden Gate International Exposition (GGIE) of 1939/40.
